## FAQ

### What is the ClipTalk MCP server?

It connects ClipTalk to AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude and ChatGPT. Your assistant can then make, edit and deliver videos with ClipTalk while you chat.

### Do I need a ClipTalk account?

Yes. The first time you connect, your assistant sends you to sign in or create a free account. Everything you make lands in your ClipTalk library, where you can also open it in the editor.

### Does it cost anything?

Connecting is free. Making videos and media uses credits from your ClipTalk account, the same as in the app, and new accounts start with free credits. Your assistant can check the price with estimate_cost before it spends anything.

### What does ClipTalk see from my chats?

Only what your assistant sends to ClipTalk's tools, such as a topic, a script or a file for a video. It never sees the rest of your conversation.

### How do I disconnect?

Remove ClipTalk from your assistant's connector settings at any time.
